Bench, Marks

I guess this is one of those "make something out of nothing" shots. Bridlington, dull day, found this set up near the harbour, and saw something in the combination of angles and textures.

I think the main problem (for my limited knowledge) is the separation between the white rail and the seats. The vast empty foreground, I would have been tempted to do a prune from below the seat making it more a letter box format. They do all lead you up to the left which is good.

Thanks for the detailed and useful comment , Ian. I can see what you mean and I'll give it a go. I wanted to get more angle to this but was "physically constrained" (too old to bend any further over the railing Smile) I felt the ground had enough texture to hold it together - but I can see entirely where you're coming form and would agree to some extent.

Nice. I would have cropped it above the bit of angle iron at the bottom left.
