In the same vein

By ardbeg77
This is a close-up of a leaf backlit by the sunlight . Taken in the botanic gardens in Oxford. Used the macro mode on my compact and a steady hand!

Adjusted the levels, curves and colour balance a touch, resize and USM. Original uploaded as version 3.

I know I always say this - but the detail is best appreciated on the large version if you can manage it.....

Thanks for looking - any comments or criticisms more than welcome.

Steve

Thanks guys. Yes, Lee - the same leaf, but a different bit with better backlighting. Will have a play with the angle of the main vein and see what happens. Thanks for your thoughts.

prefer the more traditional #2 for the angle
