    this is a 1000x800 thumbnail it loses a lot being reduced to this size and is oversharpened a bit as well the distance about 1km

    Its a family member looking on. perhaps your caption should reflect that?

    from the DOF it looks like a substantial crop. maybe the uncropped wider view would offer some connection to the beauty of the place, and provide a contrast with the horror of what took place there all those years ago.

    For the family, its sad, but at the same time positive in that it may bring some closure at last.
