Compelling hyper-real portrait . You've caught her character really well. If I can offer one little bit of critique - it has the look of a studio shot and I'm not sure that best suits the subject. Good shot all the same.

Its my effort, Fraser, to choose a lightfall of sunlight so that the background all black. Why? because her hair is white. Not a studio portrait off course.

an amazing - well captured image of this lady - who I must say looks mighty fine for 100 or more, the light is lovely showing off the texture of her skin so well and those very sharp eyes really do not look like the eyes of such an old woman
