Sexy Robot

By arhb
Late last year, Becky and I decided to create a sexy robot image, which was inspired by the series of robot images created by Michael O .
The main problem was, I haven't got the photoshop skills and know-how to create what you see above or anything close.
So I did some searching for a retoucher who is capable of this kind of work, and all responses became sketchy as soon as cost was mentioned, but al responded with, 'Shoot the project and let me see the raw files', so we went ahead, with a loan of some latex from kaori's Latex Dreams, and with the help of Viktoria Kohl doing makeup. Becky had the blond wig we would use, so everything was in place to shoot. I set up some lighting, with the plan to shoot against a plain grey bg and worked out the camera angle, until everything was looking good. I then shot a series of images of Becky, in makeup and latex, which took the least amount of time, considering all the preparation!
In the meantime, I had made conyact with a photographer/retoucher that I have become friends with, called Jamie Mahon , who I knew also worked in graphic design. He seemed very interested in getting involved, and said that he was happy to work to the budget that Becky and I had, as long as he could do the work in his spare time....
I didn't know quite how long this would be, but I did know that there was a huge amount of work needed to create just the body joints and sections to make Becky look like a robot.
The work that has gone into the whole image amounts to days, possibly weeks, and waiting for the image was worth while Smile

I realise that this isn't everyones cup of tea, and that I haven't done the post work on this image, but I thought I would share it with epz, for those who might like it.

Superb stuff. Now, this is the kind of standard where the photographers and editors involved couldn't care less about those 200 wedding photographers. Anyone can see this is quality and worth paying for.
