Studs 'n' spikes

Several months ago, I started a design project with a friend called Andi McInnes, the idea being to buy a basic outfit, and then enhance it, and add to it as it turned out.
I bought the corset dress from China very cheaply, with the intention of creating some stud/spike patterns on it.
The first obstacle we encountered was that the boning in the corset made it difficult to make an even stud pattern, so we decided to buy some red leather hide, and created the stud and spike patterns on the hide,
which we then glued to the corset dress.
We then decided to create a neck/shoulder piece to wear with the corset dress.
The cost got silly with the price of studs and spikes, outcosting the dress and red leather hide by 3 times haha! but it was a fun project,
and Elle Beth modelled it beautifully.
Lighting was by an overhead beauty dish, and 2m white fill brolly, and a speedlite set behind the model, camera left, and one speedlite set low and soft, camera right.

Retouch and new bg added in post.p.
