crystal stag

By artcubis
We saw amazing artwork and craftsmanship, gorgeous crystal animals at the Swarovski crystal gallery - displayed in the glass menagerie with just the right spotlight. I am not a collector but I would love to share them with you. They are beautiful for the season and make gorgeous gifts.
Catherine

Not an easy subject to photograph, but you have done remarkably well to capture the detail and the various spectral patches so crisply.

Thank you Rani for clearing that up for me. I am sorry if I offended you in any way calling you by the wrong name. These names are new and exotic for me, and I will try to remember. Thanks for all the positive feedback.

Hello Catherine,
It's no big deal. It happens ... it's just that I thought it better to clarify ... that's all.
Also, thank you very much for your lovely comments.
I too find your pf to be excellent ... especially some of your shoots are so interesting with all those very informative write ups that I really enjoy reading them.
Best regards.

Fine shot Catherine not easy when taking glass through glass.
Just my thought may ahve gone for a tighter crop to fill the fram with the stag.

A very fine capture Christine. The quality is amazing when considering all the highlights there must have been coming from the glass scupture. Well done.

Yes I agree. I stood there looking at this beautiful piece of art for a long time. They set it up so as to show the spectrum of light through the crystal to its best advantage. Catherine
