One thing about photography in many genres, is the need for patience and by the bucket load sometimes. Invariably this revolves around the weather, the great British weather. It is the maker of many a photo though.

You can take out many elements that will affect a photo when planning but the weather, we are all beholden to.
In this example, we had the location, the train was under orders waiting..... but the hill behind was creating it's own little micro climate. We sat there most of the afternoon watching the cloud build and circle around it so much so it was hard to work out which way the actual weather system was moving.

And then.... the one opening of the clouds Grin
