Busy Month!

Busy Month!

It's honestly been such a busy month!
Firstly, I shot some studio work for my college project which started of as a true disaster, my models didn't show nor' did my make-up artist however, luckily someone's photographer also didn't show so, I got a back-up make-up artist & model by being a back-up photographer! worked out in the best possible way if we take into account the shots I achieved!
Secondly, The wedding I was booked to shoot came up & went absolutely perfect, I was panicking constantly throughout it but we'll not go into that, but yeah on a serious note I didn't screw up somebodies big day and I got some great shots, everything I needed and everything they wanted! hopefully they'll love the outcome.
Thirdly, A few days after a band which I previously shot their promotional work for had a big concert at an O2 Academy which I was asked to shoot, to my surprise when I got there I saw the poster me and a friend created for them hung in big on the side of the academy! the show and the outcome was perfect, the photo's are plastered all over their sites and shots I took of other bands on beforehand are also plastered all over other sites! all in all, a good outcome once again!
and Lastly, me and a friend had an idea to start up an online magazine which was to include work from people we saw as under-rated, people who deserved more recognition! basically we created it to become a platform to showcase peoples work and provide them with recognition, people in the same area as us, not just Photography but the whole of the creative space, Videography, Graphics, Illustration, Art, Photography, etc. To our surprise it's kicked off to a great start so far, let's hope it stays that way! (DEPTH Mag. is the name if you was wondering, currently it's only on Facebook)
So yeah, that's about it for my success this month, no, wait, I also got my first job! starting Monday I'm no longer a College Student, I'm now a full-time Customer Advisor, mainly meaning I can now start to put money into my Photography and upgrade this really old equipment!
