My Treasure by gemm
Late addition! Great shot but the ladybird has actually been parasitised by a wasp - the cocoon underneath is the wasp which is in it's final stages of being a grub and about to emerge as an insect. The ladybird has been eaten alive from the inside out - it's nothing more than a larder!
This is a fairly major problem just now with ladybirds, they are in danger of bring wiped out by this wasp.
