The Mighty Oz

By Assyrian
This is my dog Oz.

This montage is made up of snaps taken whilst out walking with him - none are perfectly taken but none were meant to be; we were too busy having fun.

Poor Oz has been through the wars. He's had a toe sewn back on, a tumour removed and on Friday he gets a perfectly healthy canine tooth removed since he managed somehow to snap it in half. On top of this he suffers from Psychological Polydypsia - his brain forgets to tell him when to stop drinking. Yes, my dog has a drink problem. He's getting on a bit now so I thought I'd make him immortal by posting his pic on the web.

Thanks for looking!

Update 28/05/08

Sadly Oz passed away last night after a long battle with the furniture.

Wherever you are now Oz, be good and don't wreck the place! You will be missed.

So that's what a drink problem's called. And there I was thinking I was an alcoholic! Nice dog - look after him

He is SO full of mischief sometimes. Far too intelligent as well. He's picked up so many words that my Wife and I can't have a conversation without him listening in (sounds funny but it's absolutely true). We tried to spell certain words like P-A-R-K and B-E-D-T-I-M-E but he learned that. We've used Spanish words instead and he learned them too. We're now down to our own version of sign language and I'm not kidding but he's picking this up too. He's one in a million.

Thanks for your interest!

You forgot to tell everyone about how he's so smart that he didn't stop running down hill when he had that itch in his ear that just had to be scratched and went A over T all the way down!!!

But he is a great dog - he puts up with our two for a start! He was lucky to find such patient (and generous) owners - or at least owners smart enough to have him well enough insured for all his vet trips!!

Oh, yes, nice montage, too - look forward to seeing more!!!

Yes, he's expensive, occasionally destructive in the way that war can be, too smart for his own good, has mental and physical health issues but look on the bright side.......

He's got a nice blue lead!!!
