I had the idea for this shot after accidentally knocking my Galileo Love thermometer over and smashing it. (Look at mod to see what I知 on about) Anyway I picked the little hearts up and thought I知 sure I could do something with these. So I attached some waxed dental floss to each one and put them in a small tank full of water. They were held down by a small weight. The bubbles came from two pumps with air lines attached.

It痴 a very similar set-up to my Orange Chill shot, but instead of using a soft box I put white Perspex flat to the back of the tank with a small slave flash set low behind the Perspex angled at 45コ to give the gradient of light I wanted.

Anyway I hope you like it!

This is an excellent shot and an example of your intrinsic ingenuity. I enjoyed looking through your photos loaded on your profile page. The commonality of water and other elements gives you a unique style signature. Thank you for sharing the method you used to construct the setting in this photo; I visit EPZ for inspiration and to learn new techniques, but mostly to admire the talented work of the members. Best regards//DT
