  • Homeless at Christmas

Excellent PJ image. I do like the way it's composed - partial figure on the right and man on the left gives the odd number, which immediately brings the eye to the central figure. I also love the eye contact we are getting from the person on the left. Wonderfully engaging social commentary. I'm glad they were able to enjoy a bit of Christmas.

  • Walk for a Dram

Love this capture - excellent strong square crop. Really like that zig-zaggy wall leading into the frame, and the way the waves spill over it.

Beautiful, sensitive capture - very nice light. The background works well and picks up the beautiful tones in her hair. Gorgeous model.

Victor, where do I start! Let's just say I wish this were my image. I absolutely love it. The exposure and processing are excellent. Love the light, and the soft tones of pink against the muted colors of the rest of the capture make this appear so delicate. Masterclass sir.

  • The First Cut is the Deepest

A showstopper..........love the look on the barber's face. He means business - your turn next. Superbly shot, wonderful details throughout. Considering the blood spatters on the barber's shirt, I'd say this isn't his first victim - also like the bits of hair/beard on the vest.

  • I find great pleasure in discovering a photographer on EPZ, whose PF I have not run across before - well, maybe I have voted on an image, such as today. You have an interesting and varied approach to the images you take.

  • Your portfolio is excellent. I find myself leaning more and more towards monochromatic - going back to my film days possibly. I still like colour, as it has it's uses, but black and white is timeless, especially when converted properly.

  • Just looking through the thumbnails initially - you have some wonderful landscapes. I remembered The Jetty, having voted on it earlier. It reminds me of a place I used to fish as a youngster Smile
