A quick view of AnneWorner's recent activity.

  • On ice

Yes, at home, Ron, until the habitat is totally destroyed. Sad thought.

  • Ladies who lunch

I like the intimacy of this upload; and the way you lead us to, especially, the lady with her hand to her face - she seems the most interesting to me.

The use of perspective, which here creates a nice V-shape, and with the front of the table in turn makes for a very satisfying triangular compo is nicely done.

Processing to mono is flawless. Are you still using Silver Efex? Over the past few years I've made so many of my own presets, that often I can just click through until I find one that suits a particular image.

Oh, we both have the same camera Smile

    Have a good day.

Looks like a change in direction compared to your other uploads - nicely worked. Simple and elegant.

  • Harbour Reflections

Haven't been in these parts for a while. New format? Like the toning on this one Ian, and am very fond of the composition and that incredible abstracted reflection bottom of the frame.

  • Homeless at Christmas

Excellent PJ image. I do like the way it's composed - partial figure on the right and man on the left gives the odd number, which immediately brings the eye to the central figure. I also love the eye contact we are getting from the person on the left. Wonderfully engaging social commentary. I'm glad they were able to enjoy a bit of Christmas.

  • Every now and then I come across a photographer that for some reason I've not notice before on EPZ - I've missed some excellent images, and will check in here again!

  • I find great pleasure in discovering a photographer on EPZ, whose PF I have not run across before - well, maybe I have voted on an image, such as today. You have an interesting and varied approach to the images you take.

  • Your portfolio is excellent. I find myself leaning more and more towards monochromatic - going back to my film days possibly. I still like colour, as it has it's uses, but black and white is timeless, especially when converted properly.

  • Just looking through the thumbnails initially - you have some wonderful landscapes. I remembered The Jetty, having voted on it earlier. It reminds me of a place I used to fish as a youngster Smile
