Excellent composition keeping horizon free from pier wall.
Gorgeous curve of the pier with clouds sweeping in same direction.

That's a very powerful sweeping lead in and as Kate says, it's matched by the arc of the clouds. the separation of pier and distant land is essential for the structure and depth in the image and even though it is slight, the contrast between the sea and the pier means it's still obvious. Your long exposure so smooths the sea and sky that the textures of the lichen on the stone and the cement, which might otherwise have been overlooked, end up playing a very important role in the interest of the image. The limited pallete is extremely effective in tying the image together as a 'whole'. Superb! Smile
