Emley Moor

By autarky
A local landmark - I was on my way to the moors to try out my new 5D, and saw this on the way - patchy light, mist drifting across the top of the TV mast. It was the only picture I got. It was all dismal mist and drizzle on the moors. This is a drastic crop, but I can tell already the 5D will give sharp A3+ prints. Objective met.

Nice colour of the grass which makes it stand out, especially against the sky. I like the crop as well to match the transmitter.

Thanks folks. Mark - it is taken near the top entrance to Deffer Wood, on the lane that runs from High Hoyland to the Dunkirk pub at Upper Denby.
