Another macro taken with my reverse ring in a shaded area hence the noise and the reason my ISO is so high. Sometimes, if I don't take the shot I miss out on what I think makes a good image - we each have a different perspective on that. These tiny bunches of what appears to look like tiny tulips were amazing to me so I took the shot. I can't use a TTL flash with a reverse ring and I don't own a separate flash unit and I didn't have a torch with me, however I do have a lever on the lens that must have something to do with the aperture because the more light I get from pulling it back, the less is in focus. We were at our local park walking our dog. I take my camera with me - just in case.

The 2nd image is a close up of the bunches of tiny tulips just to give an idea of their actual size.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day where ever you are. My day ended well after almost two car accidents within minutes of each other. In the first one, 2 young girls were crossing the road with their babies AGAINST the lights and not looking. As I turned, I luckily noticed them and slammed on my breaks, lucky I was moving qIite slowly. Minutes later a car went through an intersection - over the middle of the road where he should have stopped to let me pass - I can't understand how he didn't see me on the straight road, he just kept going, had to swerve out of his way - he almost killed us. I was on my way to my very first day at a photography club - perhaps I shouldn't have left home.

Again thank you for all the votes and comments and helpful hints - much appreciated

Best wishes to all

What an eventful day....

A lovely purple misty glow to these flowers, the noise and focus works well in your favour, Ava.

Definately a cut above the usual flower photos posted on here.
In this case I think the noise actually adds to the mystery.

Two excellent shots, can't fault either of them Ava, not that I would need to, love the colours and the texture of V1. and love the fact that V2. puts things in perspective very nicely, a lot of times people do not realise how tiny some of these wild flowers are which is one of the reasons the fascinate me, love both very well done, regards Leon, let those that criticize do better!GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinTongueWink
