Dreamy Days

By avacreates
Lately, I've been playing with slowing down my shutter speed on breezy days to get a painting effect but at the same time attempting to have my main subject as sharp as possible - You can be the judge.

I didn't realise my shutter speed was set to 1000, yet I got the effect I wanted so I'm guessing it has more to do with my aperture setting. I still have a lot to learn so if anyone has any suggestions or tips, I would love to hear from you.

Thank You for the kind support on previous images and a big thank you to JABE for the UA - very much appreciated

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day/night

With Gratitude

AVA Grin

A beautiful result, Ava, love the contrast of the yellow of the flower against the greenery. Carol

I like the BG color and the way the yellow is highlighted by the green ...John

You've 'slowed' this one down to 1/1000 sec, Ava TongueGrinGrin, and -5 on the exposure compensation?

A lovely result though.

"How fast were you capturing images before Ava?"

A slow shutter speed to be is anything below 1/60th
