Mists of Fire, Hope Valley, Peak District

The Mists of Fire, Hope Valley, Peak District.
I have been hunting this image for a while now and although it isnt the first time I have photographed the Cement Works, it was a quick pit stop on the Monday morning to photograph in two locations. Finally I managed to get the image I have wanted for a long time, pink mist being lit by Castleton as well as the cement works shrouded in mist, and to boot hints of a reddy orange sky. Little did I know at that time, there was more to come from Curbar!

Well worth the wait I would say, great colours and atmosphere.

Very keen on the image, less so the watermarking, excellent nonetheless

As I said when I saw this elsewhere, the best UK landscape image I've seen in a long, long time.

Agree that it's a great photo, but for me the photographer's dominant logo ruins it!

Never seen this done better. Must agree the logo does spoil it a bit.Great work.
