The Lone Seashell, Iceland

By awhyu
It was beautiful to admire this ice structure stranded on the beach, cool winds brushed past, and before taking on the image making, it was great to smell the sea and hear the roar of the distance waves in the background.
I am pretty glad I bought a set of deep tripod spikes from my last trip to Slovenia, as it allowed me to drive the tripod in quite deep as getting stability was the name of the game this morning.
I particularly like the simplicity of this image as well as the actual ice formation which definitely reminds me of a seashell

Pure beauty is, more often than not, in the simplest of things; we just need the eyes to see it Smile

As you rightly say........it is the simplicity that makes the image.............of course together with a bit of skill Wink
