" Hurst Point Lighthouse "

By badgerwil70
The lighthouse is along side Hurst Castle on a promontory that extends into the Solent which separates The Isle of Wight from Hampshire.
The image was taken from Fort Victoria IOW. whilst enjoying a coffee in very overcast conditions.
This was the first opportunity to try the 75 - 300mm lens at such a distance ( 320 at F8 Iso 100 ).
Later on Google Earth I was able to check the point to point Distance to 1.25 miles.
