On A Night Like This

By Sezz
It was not my intention to visit the Stade today, I spent most of my afternoon at Pevensey followed by Bexhill on Sea, such glorious weather - however the call was too great to ignore and I found myself pointing my car in the direction of Hastings on the way home, one just had to Wink

Some may not like the inclusion of the lobster pots but I couldn't get a composition of BloodAxe (RX37) without them so they had to stay!

Thank you for your time, as always your thougths/comments are very welcome.
Regards - Sarah J x

Cant believe how much blummin' football there is on the tv at the mo' Tongue

Good strong lead in lines on this scene of the beached boats, Sarah: fine detail and saturated but natural colours.
The lobster pots just finish the scene nicely.

Why I am not surprised that on such a glorious day your car's " auto mode " drove to The Stade Wink

RX is indeed Rye Wink

Oh, I like the inclusion of the lobster pots as well, adds more interest to to what would have been just more pebbles ! !

A superb result and your decision to go was clearly the right one. Such good leading lines and the light works well coming from the side..Phil

Glorious light: what better place to be on such an evening?
The lobster pots help create ambience as well as composition, an essential function.

The pots are an integral part of this location, so they sit naturally in the image, Sarah. Thay add, not detract.
