Reasons For Being There

By lifesnapper
Hi all and thanks to all who kindly voted and offered info on my 'Hooded Seeds', especially Lynne for the Link.
Today a couple of Candid shots that I took in Canterbury, showing that however many of us there are in one place, we often have totally different reasons for being there. Hope you like my little observations, and enjoy the rundown to the WEEKEND! Smile

All the best to all,

John Smile

I once taught in a well known Grammar School in Canterbury, and the buskers look uncanningly familiar John.

Super observation of every day life John - nice to see a guitar or two in there as well! Wink

Interesting pair of images. V1 is perhaps what I expected around a market cross, an interesting example of the genre with what looks like a medieval man-at-arms etc.; V2 looks as if it includes some audience participation. Just goes to show precisely what you mentioned in your intro Smile

Never actually been there, John. Well spotted candid. I used the transform 'skew' tool in CS5 to pull out the top corner and straighten the monument. Put a bit of light in the shadows with 'levels' and desaturated the whole thing a tad.

Two very good images John and it is very interesting to ponder on the reasons why people are in a place at a certain time
