Not quite sure what you're trying to acheive here, mate. There's not enough detail left after the processing to see what's going on.

The highest of compliments Dave!

There may be too little if your monitor might be a tad off on the brightness/contrast, but I have the advantage of knowing what was there. Its abstract, and was originally a lake with those posts and their reflections tied together by a thin rope, a few rocks in the foreground, but its barley there for sure as intended. I can see all the elements well on my monitor except any water, which is white space.

I have looked at this for awhile now, and it is so peaceful even tranquil to see and the trees in the bacground as well, but it is the posts with rope and rocks that have bought this all together...as a ghost shot Willie it sure works as a abstract

I love this very minimal effect which depicts the lake yet has little to do so.... very clever work

Hi Willie,

I love this kind of close-up and isolating detail (rather than abstract) water shot, but I think this suffers in there being too many elements - the stones, the posts and wires, and the shoreline land. I think the main problem is that the fence is level with the land in the background - a sligtly higher or lower level may have separated the a bit.

Sorry, in CG mode there, but I know you can take it Smile Still a lovel yshot and I like the treatment

Thanks for the feedback Stephen, - and CG mode works for me.

Its interesting re the fence line and the background, - I think its whats makes it work, - its preventing you from getting to the land.

Its worth trying with less, or no rocks though, - will see what it looks like.

Thanks
