Wintry Country Scene

By bannview
Took this Thursday on our first real snowfall this winter while the young ones were snowboarding in the next field. The sky was really grey an overcast and it was snowing fairly heavily at the time but it gave muted tones to the house in the background and the surrounding countryside which I thought was nice - a sort of sureal look to it. I hope some of you feel the same way about it. Let me know what you think.

Love it, the horse contrasts nicely with the white and grey scenery.

Beautiful scene, very atmospheric. The thumbnail does not do it justice!

Lovely composition, imparts great feel for the weather conditions. Worth keeping to make a personal Christmas card! Lots of space to put text without spoiling the image. Andrew
