Cherabims ?

Yesterday I stumbled upon the Wakefield Cathedral.
What an amazing building. It had the standard superb glass windows etc. But it had a really lived in feel with all sorts of modern additions.. Sadly my camera skills wern't up to the occasion But will definately be going back with a different lens !

Lovely image Barbara, wonderful colours, very well captured, I know how difficult it is to take photo's in church buildings, very well done.

They look like they are sharing an amazing secret! A tad more light or a tripod and that focus would have been perfect. They are hard places to shoot.

never been to Wakefield but looks a great place to visit, just a little dark on my screen to enjoy fully but a good try Barbs

Well they are cheeky little pair of cherabims for sure! Looks as if they are planning some mischief! Maybe just a touch of levels would brighten it a touch a make it sing out.

Great places for finding unusual things to shoot a wee tad more light would have helped you non the less interesting one with unusual colours ....Awards for the swan were well deserved Barbara it was a cracking shot click

What a dear little pair of carvings. It sounds a wonderful place, Barbara. Interesting that the cherubim on the right looks as though she (?) is wearing specs Wink I think they know something we dont..... Look forward to some more of your shots from the Cathedral.

Wonderful scene of the cherub-like figures sharing a moment Barbara,
well captured, fascinating symbolism, wonder why one is, sort of kicking the other, and if the red wing denotes the mischief in him/her?

I was in the centre of Wakefield yesterday, wish I'd known you were there, we could have met up - and had drink to celebrate my birthday! Wink Can't say I'd seen these, must pop in and take a look around. Well seen Barbs Smile
