"Whenever things seem hard to bare.
Dont give up ...... Hang on in there."
Thought this rather grand succulent was sending out a message of some sorts.
Weekend again ... Have a good one!
I can see a blue sky at the moment, but not holding my breath.
love the detail and light barbara wonderful colours too a cracker have a good weekend
Thought this was a new wig Barbara . Very nicely captured and good detail. Moira
So this is where Rastafarians got the idea for that hairdo. Excellent capture.
On the thumbnail I thought this was a mop head............but it turns out I'm the mop head.......
Great capture with lovely light
Blue sky +sun here now
Terrific image Barbara... love it!
Great Afro hair style.
Super image Barbara, never seen one of these before, well spotted and captured, blue sky's and sunshine here, lets hope it stays for a while
Don't think I could wear that Lynne lol. keep my own hair whats left of it, nice shot Barbara well spotted and yes it speaks to you saying look at me! nice one like it, regards Leon.
Looks like you've either crocheted this or hand knitted it, Barbs!!
my first thought was that of dougies a green Afro, yes best not to hold your breath
Intriguing, I'm seeing a mop. It just needs a bucket.
Is it a rastaplant by any chance? You know how weak my I.D. is
Great succulent plant Barbara,
got a good shot and filled the frame so well
like the dark background
I really thought it was a mop head (having just had a morning cleaning my kitchen floor). Very well captured Barbara and those light greens show up well against that dark background.
I thought is was a rear head shot of one of your young musicians
Very well presented Barbs.
Yep mophead crossed my mind too!
Yet it is a lovely textured plant.
I hope you found peace in it's message.
Mophead does seem rather appropriate. And it does seem to be thriving. Wall to wall blue sky down here, and for the rest of the day apparently .... trip to the Thames methinks
I thought it was a mop, great image.
I had one of these years ago! Beautiful! Patti
A nsot interesting plant, not sure about the message?
Could apply to me Barbs - still feeling awful but like your picture, so well detailed
A wonderful succulent, Barbs, wonder if it produces any flowers? Well captured and presented. Carol
From curly to.............!!!!!! Have a nice "hang on" weekend, Barbs!!!!!!!! Ania
Must go clean the kitchen floor.............. this is no good sat on epz all day, after that I might wash my hair........... Stop reminding me of things I must do Barbara!
Blast. Bill's nicked my comment!
So, I'm not the only one who thought it was either a mop or a wig. From the thumbnail, it also looks like a bundle of rope.
Fascinating plant with interesting growth patterns.
I was browsing my EPZ faves on my iPhone whilst uptown having some lunch, and my immediate thought too was a mop head! Then I thought "No, Barbara's bought a green afro wig..." Wrong on both counts! A very fine looking specimen, Barbs, and beautifully captured
A very good image Barbara, never seen anything like it.
Quote: So this is where Rastafarians got the idea for that hairdo. Excellent capture.
LOL...I see Lynne beat me to it. BAH
Awesome shot of this 'dreaded succulent', Barbara
Extraordinary plant: thought you'd taken a snap of your kitchen mop from the thumbnail.
At first thought it was a mop, but then I saw it was a plant,, good detail Barbara, nice idea.
Lovely detail and light Barbara. I too thought it was a mop at first
Well, Barbara, all the comments have been made, and I agree with them all, and as I can't think of anything funnier that that lot have come up with, then I'll restrict myself to, fine image
Nice, i too thought it was a mop head, Peter..
Hi Barbara, great shot.
Is it Vileda or Spontex
I thought of a sporran from a Scottish cannibal,
made out of human teeth !!
it seems that your Jamaican guest forgot his dreadlocks...
Have nice weekend, Barbara!
Beautiful thought and image, Barbara. Excelllent shot, the colour and light is great, wonderful detail.
Interesting image here.
Silly me, I took it for some ropy tinsel from your carnival series. As the detail of a costume !
Great shot, well spotted!
Great shot well captured
What a wonderful looking plant Barbara, blue skies are forecast for this week, yipee!
Great capture works well against the black bg
Lovely shot. It is great to see this - I 'lost' my specimen last time my greenhouse was davastated in the gale!
Unusual and lovely capture.
I enjoyed all the ideas as to what this looked like !
