hi barbs nice to know some have survived.excellent shot water captured perfect (which i find a difficult subject to get right) i may be a bit fussy here but i would prefer to have seen the top of the mothers head.but thats only me! composition is great with mother positioned on left it really leads you into the picture.super work.dave x

Well she's watching over those little ones well enough. Who knows what happens to some of the chicks though. Our local pair usually manage 5 or 6 fully grown offspring and I check on them regularly.
