Clock in Full

By BarbaraR
Hi all,
Funny this .. it was meant to be a Bluebell ! lol
I went to photo a lovely host of Blue/Pink/White Bell flowers at my village churchyard. Three visits, differing light, 60 odd attempts, and not one worthy capture !
Took a quick couple of Dandelion seed heads,
(clocks) and was well pleased.
I have a closer view to show soon.
This is pretty much straight from the camera, hand held, and I'm particularly chuffed how the greenery b/g turned out.
Thanks everso for all the lovely C&C's for yesterday's white Daisy.
Cheers,
Barbara x Smile

this is a beautiful shot ful of detail, as for the bluebells I find it incredible that it is easy to get a medeocra shot but really difficult to get one that you are please with and that ticks all the boxes, I will just keep trying after all can try again next year!! lol

Dont think I have ever seen a bluebell like this before - these dandielion clocks are difficult to get right (because they challenge the dof) but this is very well done. Did these clocks ever go 24 hour I wonder?

Thanks again everyone, chuffed to wake up to find it made 30 +
Yes, I struggled with dof with this new camera, but I've found the
select focus on it's menu now and that seems good for these close-ups .. mostly, lol.
Cheers, good to read all your comments.

Super detail in the seeds perhaps just a tad overexposed with some burnt out highlights ..... I often use spot metering when my main subject is bright against a darker background but I am not sure if every camera has this facility. I struggle with bluebells too Sad
