Hello and thanks for your comments.

Dudler,, I don't really provide much info as for me it's the final image that matters. However, I'm eternally grateful to all the learning I've had from info provided by others in whatever format. So I will provide more info in future posts. There's no HDR involved, just very slow build up of contrast in distant scenery. A lot of time goes into this and a lot of doubt.. until I'm happy (if ever Wink ) I do try to see things a little unconventional, ie the mountain in the foreground, detail in the distance. Usually the other way around. Now apparently Ansel Adams said that his straight prints looked nothing like his final prints. Not comparing myself to AA, but My work looks nothing like original. And this photo is a stitch of 7 frames Moira, with no cropping other than a trim to tidy the composite image. As Dudler said the image is growing on him. It was the same for me but as it grew on me I too thought more of the base of the hill should be in frame. May return for another shot.. And Otinkyad the image was squeezed some which I think adds an artistic effect.

Thanks again all, I really enjoyed reading your comments.

    Kind Regards

    Hi PCarman

This was taken in Manchestr city centre 31 years ago. I saw him a few times again in the 80s but not like above. Wonder where he is now.

    Thanks for comment.
