Easby Abbey Ruins

By barrywebb
Easby Abbey ruins near Richmond. On this day we drove east as the forecast was for persistent rain around the Hawes area where we were staying. During breaks in the showers I managed to grab a few long exposures shots around the Abbey ruins. In this shot the clouds were coming straight towards me. The version shows the effect of the clouds going across my chosen viewpoint.
A huge thanks to all who gave UAs for my Wain Wath Falls shot. An overwhelming response that was very much appreciated. A special thanks to Pamela for the GEA and the editor for the HC.

Great use of a slow shutter speed to blur the clouds and give the path of the clouds to enhance the ruins. Excellent mono tones as well.
