A blast from the past

By tressypittkerby
This is a picture of my grandmother and grandfather when they were very young. Unfortunately my grandfather died in WW2 in Burma. My grandmother was evacuated to Somerset from London with her two young sons. They never returned home. My grandmother was a wonderful lady and lived until she was 90. I miss her terribly.

This photo has just come to light and I would love to try and sharpen it a bit but have no idea where to start apart from the usual automatic sharp setting on my software (Corel Paintshop Pro 2). Does anyone have any advice please?

Thanks everyone for all the mods. I like them all. I never knew what a "Dot" was until I saw the bike! I thought he must have named it "Dot", just like my dad named his Enfield "Ella"! lol

hi l like the photo of nan and grandad with the dot,my dad came down from london in the war to live in taunton as a boy.he to died a few years ago, 2 of the 52 bikes he left were dots, my baby brov still has them along with a bike shop just outside about you and your partner dressing up and having your own photo taken.sharpening made easy.

Now there's a plan - just need to find a Dot! We live in Yeovil, nan was evacuated to South Petherton. How close is that? What's the name of the bike shop? We'd love to pop in.
