Ullswater Ice

Cold conditions and the foreground here is a frozen stream. I like the layering effect of the ice, giving the impression that it froze instantly as it was flowing.

A polariser and ND grads were used to balance the exposure.

Only nine votes on this...the world's gone mad. There are shots on EPZ which don't hold a candle this type of image, getting 40 & 50 votes. I am disgusted! (Nice pic by the way!) Andy i
