Felixstowe Mono

By Bee76
A mono conversion of a similar shot previously uploaded in colour....

I love the idea of working in mono but it just seems more onerous than processing in colour. I am nearly always attracted to rich vibrant colours and so my preference is nearly always to process in colour. Unless the colours on a shoot are naff or I specifically go out to shoot for mono (almost never) I tend to keep away from mono work which is a shame. So this is just a practice go really to keep my eye in and not to everyone's taste I'm sure.

Anyhow, have a good evening and feel free to comment or critique the hell out of it Wink.

Cheers,
Barney

Very nicely done Barney. You shouldnt be afraid of Mono. I think its actually easier to process as you only have to concern yourself with tone and you can push the contrast much more than with colour. Keep at it.
