Rain Rushing By

By Bee76
.....and just missing me and my non-weather sealed camera. It did however get my car 5 minutes walk away - a very near miss.

My first chance to get out and shoot some of the rape that has flooded the countryside around here. There's so much about that it's really hard deciding on where's best. Every time I'm out in the car my mind is racing trying to work out angles and direction of light and what compositions I could try.

It really is quite hard composing a strong image as everywhere looks so similar so I decided to make the strongest part of this image something other than the field and go for a letterbox crop. I think it works.

Thanks for looking and as always, thanks very much for the comments and clicks on the previous.

Very nice i love the colours and the use on a long exposure works well. The super widescreen crop works well too, definitely finishes it off well.
