My venus fly trap is somewhat poorly at the moment. Don't think it likes the builders for sticking it on a dark shelf while I'm not around.

A grand close-up Bernice. and the colours are spot on. My plant is catching flies. I find dried up bodies inside. Never seen it close on one though. How do I get rid of the dead flies? If I use a watercolour brush, the plant uses valuable energy expecting a meal! I wouldn't mind propogating these plants, but what do they feeed on in the winter? Anyway nuff of that. Cerrrrlick

This must have taken great timing. I keep a range of carnivorous plant myself from Sarracenia to venus fly traps and know how quickly insects meet their maker - well done - click!
