I like this too, but i feel its a tad too dark ? maybe a case of underexposure ?, have uploaded a mod, and selectively brightened the image a bit from the center onwards, also a slight crop from the LHS side to take it a bit off center. There is also a shadow which might detract depending on how you perceive it, probably a different angle to avoid it might make it a much better shot

A really gorgeous shot Bernie, - like a load of sparkling diamonds.


Theres a very bright, burned area on the side of the largest drop that if toned won can improve the shot, as would a crop to place the main event on a third. Ive used a cloning technique to fill in some of the burned area, sharpened to enhance sparkles, and cropped.

Thanks Willie yes I did notice that bright spot but was'nt sure how to tone it down, thanks for your constructive comments once again.

The idea is very good, but the burnt out area doesn't help. I think the image is a bit too contrasty - flash or bright sun from the right and the water globule has focused the light through itself giving a hotspot.
