Technically, I think this photograph has been well taken: correctly exposed and sharply focussed.

However, as far as the composition is concerned, in my opinion, the foliage in the background is a tad too distracting from the main subject, the iguana. Perhaps, you could have reduced the depth of field so that the foliage was blurred while the iguana was still in focus. Or, perhaps, you could have changed your viewpoint, slightly to the right, so that the brown rock (?) was in the background.
