On a visit to Reculver I was struggling for inspiration despite the lovely towers (they have been shot so many times and so much better than I ever could) and saw a lone guy cutting up fish for bait, he was the first person I ever asked if I could take his photograph and he seemed really chuffed, I was very proud of myself for being brave! I did have shots with more of him in, but the fish were more interesting lol

It seems such a simple thing, and I've always wanted to do 100 strangers project, but even now I find it hard to just walk up to a stranger and ask, so I have never gone ahead with it! Maybe this year!?

A strong subject, well-observed. The b&w conversion is startling ( the mackerel think so too) and extremely well done.

Morning... A strong composition with a great mono conversion. Nicely done!

I find asking strangers if I could take their picture difficult too... hence the landscapes! welcome to the site!

Hands at work are always tricky but immensely satisfying. You see skill, finesse, concentration, without ever intruding into the subject's face. This is a good capture with a really strong, gritty feel to the b&w.

Good comp, textures and interest throughout.
