Looking Back

By Bevy
This was taken the day my office was closed. What was once a building busting with people was reduced to an empty shell as each floor was gradually stripped bare, the staff having long gone, offered retirement or moved to another office.

As I walked around the very top floor doing a final check and taking some snaps as mementos, my colleague called me saying it was time to go, and hanging over the banister I took this.

You have a good eye for pattern images.
Nice and sharp from outside to in despite the depth of field.

While this is a familiar style of image the tiny person looking up makes it very different from the mass. Well composed and in good b&w.

Another great image. You can sense that desertion, well portrayed.

The figure looks tiny and lost, a sort of Alice in Wonderland trick with our sense of scale.
