My Word Bev !!
We're all going to have to look to our laurels now, this is an excellent picture. I think the guy on the bridge makes this more than just a picture of the locomotive and brings the whole thing to life.

The Lord Nelson is an unusual loco, because it was originally designed by Maunsell with the pairs of cranks set like a GWR 4 cylinder loco and produced four exhaust beats per revolution of the driving wheels. O. V. S Bullied modified the crank angles to give eight beats to the revolution. He also fitted it with a Le Maitre multiple jet blast pipe and chimney. This causes the Lord Nelson to produce some very interesting and unusual smoke effects, which you have captured very well.

Great atmosphere. It reminds me of being taken to watch steam trains passing through as my father snapped away.
