Auto macro rail.

I have been working on my latest project and here are some shots of the kit getting built.

The old DVD lazer carriage, with the lazer removed and a small plate glued in its place, unipolar stepper motor fitted and ready for wiring to the motherboard.



The casing ready, the 2 small boards hold the IR sensor and the download jack, at the front you can make out the output jack to trigger the camera and at the back is the battery pack.



The motherboard, carefully soldered and ready for fitting.



I am just waiting for one vital component to finish the board off and then it can all be assembled and tested.
