Bibeault

So much there is to catch, and the years so short
There is scarce time to snatch pen, palette or aught,
To seize some shape that we may see,
That others make keep its moment of mystery
Then to our sleep

this is beautiful in a classic way - no gimmics just beauty and talent. Bravo

Thank you all for the comments - each mirrors my own thoughts. I do not photograph many people, but I love when I am able to capture what essence I see and others "get it" I am posting another one - a gypsy on the step of a church in Florence, Italy, smoking and taking a break from begging. I loved the way her clothing blended in.

Have a good week in the UK - today it was 65d here and beautifully sunny.

Thanks, Dave - I had cropped this one much closer - But I also love the white fence. This famous farm was owned by the Vanderbilt Family and their stables have had many successful horses. There are miles of white fences. Wish I could just attach a few broader shots via e-mail.

    Hope all is well.

This shot achieves a great purpose - it makes us smile - kudos for the patience to capture them for us!

  • Fall at Sagamore Farm,

Thank you all for stopping by and chatting about my photo. I did go back and crop - and it looks much like the one I am posting today of another location taken the same day - for comparison. By the way, I love the UK and even these little snippits of ideas bring back fond memories. It is 4 AM now - so I will go back to sleep.

    Enjoy your Friday
