I've been an irregular point and shooter all my life. But after having a triple heart by pass in September 2004 , I was out walking for several hours every day and realised what we are missing when we are stuck at work. I became better acquainted with my Sony 717 then I took the plunge in January 2005 and got the Pentax *istDs, it's a great camera (with lots of cheap 'old' lenses on Ebay) but I'm still learning how to use it. When I see some of the superb shots uploaded here, I realise what a lot I still have to learn. Even today (2016) it is still the one I reach for my 'flower' shots and the 70mm lens never comes off.
I would like to thank everyone who has visited my portfolio over the last 12 months or so,who have just looked, clicked, commented or criticised. (Especially the ones who for some strange reason seem to like some of what I do).
