Catching the Sunrise

Woke up early last Sunday and decided to take my new camera for a trip out. I did wonder whether I was mad, getting up so early by choice, but arriving to see this made it all worthwhile!

I loved the light on the foreground fields and village in this one and standing there, with nobody around was extremely pleasant. Then it was home for a bacon sandwich and back to bed!
