    thanks, SostanD. thanks for your modification. what did you do? I can see that it's not entirely monochrome, but the top left looks like it is. Whatever you did, it definitely adds to the mood of the picture.

    I think you're correct - I found the framing of this picture quite difficult. It was handheld by leaning the camera against the wall, whilst trying to get the faces in a line. I guess I could try to tone down the left-hand side, but I wasn't sure if it would end up too muddy-looking.
