Hi Bob,

Removing the lampposts, pylon and power lines is certainly an improvement, but it does leave a large expanse of empty sky that you could crop off 50-65% to improve the composition.

I feel you have also over-boosted the saturations, making the scene look a little un-real. And it also looks like you have applied too much sharpening, creating a halo round the bridge, although this could be due to a selection.

Compositionally it's good that you have tried to incorporate some foreground detail to give depth to the picture, although I'm not entirely convinced about the choice of grass, but it's a shame that it breaks into the bridge reflection - it would be much better if there was even a small gap.

The light is very nice here Bob and you have created a lovely reflection. I agree with Malcolm that a bit less grass in the foreground would have improved the composition. It's a very tranquil scene. I can't help feeling though that the person perhaps leaning over the bridge would have added that extra element of interest.

Best wishes

well, malcolm has said right and i agree with him.But i like the reflection, the depth of field, the color and the bridge in this shot. you have taken a side view of the bridge but i can say that if i were there i would have preferred a different angle for the shot giving the bridge with reflection on the water a diagonal view and creating a vanishing point in the image.

i think there are two cars at the extreme edge of the bridge at the left side of the frame and they are leaving the bridge. so you could have waited a few seconds for the shooting.
