Battery Boutelle

By BigCol
Back in April I went on a trip to the States, the intention of which was to visit & photograph Yosemite National Park.
I flew into San Francisco and stayed there for a couple of days to acclimatise to the time difference, and also to see a bit of that lovely city.
The one place in San Francisco that I really wanted to photograph was the Golden Gate bridge and so, as my time in the city was limited, I decided to concentrate on that area for both sunrise & sunset in the hope that I might get some decent light on at least one occasion.
So this is taken on my first morning in San Francisco. No sunrise light to speak of but I managed to find a slightly different viewpoint of the bridge.
Battery Boutelle is one of the many gun batteries in the Presidio area of San Francisco and was built in 1900.
