Read the comments and did some work to the photo-is it any better?By answersonapostcard At 09:40AM - 09 Nov 2004
Hope you dont mind Emma but I've just had a look back over the images of your boy just to see if I can grasp whats not grabbing me about them, the quality is there but something is just not working and I think it may be the backround and jumper. The contrast between the two just doesnt work. If you had your boy in a lighter t shirt I think you may see the difference. Just a thought, feel free to slap me though, already got me coat on Wink)) K.

I was just going to say the same thing. He has a lovely expression, but looks like he doesn't belong on the background. Perhaps a bit more lighting on him, to show his eyes sparkling?

I cant remember if you're using flash or natural light emma? you need more light to get the background whiter and lighten him up a bit. Also, a white reflector may help.

Did you investigate the Portflash Studio stuff I told you about?

Hi Emma,
hope you don't mind...I worked on your little man...just adjusted the levels in PS to brighten him a bit and add a catchlight in his eyes. I think that K, Jade and Steffi are right and he needs brightening up a bit. I've emailed you what I've done. Also cropped a little. Kind regards, Debbie.
