Close to the Edge at Neist Point.

By bill33
Another image from the Skye visit, this time out to Neist Point on a very windy and wet day, but well worth the effort. Had to hold down the tripod when taking this shot due to the exceptionally high wind and also very close to the edge of the cliff. My sincere thanks to everyone for your time to view and comment on my images, it is much appreciated, Bill.

Lovely shot, and well done for standing upright in the wind. It reminds me of the landscape near the Cape of Good Hope. When we visited there it was a wild and windy day too.

So much to see here Grin Excellent
The wind and rain here are bad enough Bill but when you lean aginst the wind and you stumble forwards, your stomach does things it was never intended to do. But Neist looks best in dramatic light with black clouds gathering.

One of my fave places to visit, but sorry - don't like the treatment, very harsh edge to everything....
