The Bigger Picture

By bill33
Once again my thanks to everyone for the amazing response to my previous photograph, and a special thanks to Shane for the GE award and also to Skeet1Away for his UA, it came as a very pleasant surprise. This was another image from the same day but with a different focal length, it shows the bigger picture from this wonderful area. Also a different type of processing to this image, and IR conversion. I would be interested on your thoughts. Bill.

An excellent composition and processed so sensitively, bringing out the character of the scene and locale so well.

Love the clouds clinging to the mountain top, Bill. I thought this was a straight mono conversion 'til I read your description. A good tonal range and lovely conversion.

A great mono landscape, the stream leads the eye into the image, like the mist on the mountain topsSmile
